Matt Harrington - Spray Paint, Acrylic, Ink, Pencil, Colored Pencil

"I create art because I like to see what my mind spits out. I like making weird colors, shapes, landscapes, and creatures. I have complete control and nobody can tell me I am wrong. Art is completely expressive. Whether it be abstract, conceptual, still life, etc.; it's all about how the artist sees their subject, and why they see it that way. When people look at my art, I hope they will stare for hours! I can't help but make detailed work with a pencil or ink, and abstract work with paints. I hope they notice the way the strokes and colors mix to make the image. I hope I can influence people or surprise them with something they've never seen."

Matt's influences: Salvador Dali, MC Escher, Jos De Mey, Sandro Del-Petre, Octavio Ocampo, and Alex Grey.
